Kahlia Hsieh!

Hi, my name is Kahlia and I am a graphic design student at the University of Florida. Working primarily with colored pencil and acrylic paint, my style often blends traditional East Asian patterns with Western-style realism, highlighting the intersection of my white and Asian mixed heritage. I also incorporate elements into my art that are separate from these two styles, such as vivid colors, to reflect how this fusion has allowed for the evolution of a new style. Through a post-secondary education, I am now using this foundation to approach graphic design from a unique perspective, exploring how I can integrate traditional media into my digital art.
